OUR NARRATIVES, OUR TIMES
This is the portfolio of Maxwell Leis: bilingual (EN/FR) narrative designer, writer, artist, audio engineer, and ancient language translator.
Graduated from Concordia University 2025 with a BA in classical languages and literature.

On this site you can find current updates on Pressure Point, other game prototypes, my poetry, radio show, and current progress on my industrial-fantasy world of Cassis as well as my continuous work By Way Of.
(LATER: Voritas map, translations)

I use my foundations in writing and design alongside my education in ancient civilizations to build immersive narratives with the goal of creating passionate communities strengthened by our shared past.
Having entered into the classical world through a love for cartography and poetry, I utilize the footprints of empires and personalities of old in tandem with geomorphological realities to create worlds and stories both fantastic and grounded.
Through my dedication to lore both fact and fiction, I hope to let others dwell on the ties that bind us across the breadth of the human experience.

ABOUT
A lore lover of many hats

Maxwell Leis is always making something. In university, he ran all social media accounts for the school's classical studies association, producing and illustrating each advertisement and post for two years, leading to sold-out lecture halls.
For the past three years he has been a consistent volunteer at CJLO 1690am, DJing his weekly radio show REVC and helping the community in any way possible, whether through media coverage of festivals and events or CD and record cataloguing. In freelance positions he has filmed and edited live sets, concerts, and designed event posters.
Now developing his proficiency in game design, particularly with Twine and Unreal Engine, he hopes to join a team of likeminded creatives to once again bind communities with our collective culture.
